In honor of the 25th Anniversary of the Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Holiday, The “U-Be The Change” Campaign has joined the National Alliance of Faith & Justice and the Pen & Pencil Network in launching 100 Days of Service and Non-Violence.
Students from the College of Lake County, Waukegan, North Chicago School Districts, Boys & Girls Club, Youth Conservation, Waukegan Housing Authority, and the Non-Violent Task Forces will be involved in 100 Days of Service and Non-Violence activities. Beginning, January 17, 2011 and for the next 100 days, students will be engaged in:
The 100 Days of Service and Non-Violence will be launched Monday, January 17, 2011, 9:00 am, during the Annual Youth Conservation MLK Day at Boys and Girls Club and continuing for the next 100 days.
Join the U- BE THE CHANGE CAMPAIGN for PERSONAL RESPONSIBILITY AND ACTION as we celebrate the 25th anniversary of the Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Day of Service with 100 Days of Service and Non-violence.
